"Banana Queen" is a small collage/ part drawing created in 2016. I went to buy some unusual fabrics (latex and plastic) in London and got so inspired by them, their color and translucent quality. I started cutting them up and also used the paper wrapping they came into. The same day, I also bought a great fashion magazine and loved many pages of it that had interesting fabrics and colors, and used some here too. I worked very spontaneously and without any filter, cutting, pasting, I just wanted to enjoy myself. I then worked with ink, acrylic and pencils and built on it. I love the banana crown, which gave it the name "Banana Queen".
